How it works

We work alongside you, not just hand you a dashboard.

Software alone leaves you to figure out how to use it. RevSage pairs an operator with analysis of your own sales motion, so what is learned turns into workflows your team actually runs.

The model

Two ways to bring software into a sales team.

Software handed over

  • Build the software
  • Give it to the customer
  • The customer figures out how to use it

Software deployed with you

  • Work alongside the founder
  • Understand the actual GTM motion
  • Deploy intelligence into the workflow
  • Keep improving the system as the team learns

The idea of embedding specialists with the customer comes from forward-deployed engineering in enterprise software. We apply it to go-to-market. It is a way of working, not a claim to be a different company's model.

What the operator does

From connecting the data to feeding learning back.

  1. Connect the relevant data Together we agree which conversations, CRM context, and exports to analyze.
  2. Understand the existing sales motion The operator learns how your company actually sells, including what is not in any system.
  3. Run the diagnostic The software analyzes your conversations, deals, and outcomes. The operator reviews it with you.
  4. Find what your best deals share Moments and moves that show up in deals you won, with the evidence behind each.
  5. Turn useful findings into repeatable workflows Briefs, call structures, follow-ups, or checks the team can use in real deals.
  6. Work with your reps in live deals The operator helps the team put changes to use in real deals and watches what changes.
  7. Feed what is learned back into the product What worked, and what did not, makes the system better at the next round.

Human and AI

Each does what it is better at.

RevSage is not AI that replaces your sales team. AI analyzes the GTM motion continuously. A person works with the people running it.

Context and judgment

  • Context about your market and your buyers
  • Implementation inside your workflow
  • GTM judgment on what is worth testing
  • Workflow adaptation to how your team works
  • Experimentation with salespeople
  • Turning findings into operations
  • Working with the founder

Scale and memory

  • Large-scale analysis of conversations and deals
  • Pattern detection across wins and losses
  • Conversation and behavioral signals
  • Opportunity-level intelligence
  • Recommendations
  • Continuous learning from outcomes
  • Institutional memory of what was tried

The principle

The operator gets it working, then steps back.

The human layer exists to make the system useful while the product and the method mature. As repeatable work becomes software, we expect to need less hands-on time, not more.

The goal is not a permanent consulting dependency. It is a GTM system your company can run.

What it is not

Four things RevSage does not do.

  • Outsourced sales We do not sell for you. Your team sells.
  • A fractional VP of Sales We do not run your sales function. We analyze it and help you test improvements.
  • A generic GTM agency The work starts from analysis of your own conversations and outcomes, not from a standard playbook.
  • SDRs working on the founder's behalf No one at RevSage prospects or takes meetings as you.

The loop

Find what works. Try it. Keep what works.

The operator and the software run the same loop: find patterns in how the founder sells, choose a few to test, watch whether the team adopts them and whether deals move, and keep what works.

Find what works

  1. Your calls and deals Real calls, emails, and CRM history from the founder and the team.
  2. What your best deals share What the deals you won have in common, and what stalled ones lack.
  3. Founder GTM Diagnostic Findings reviewed with you, with the evidence behind each.
  4. A few changes to try One or two things the team tries first, not a long list.

Try it and keep what works

  1. Reps use it in live deals Does the change show up in their own calls and follow-ups?
  2. See if deals move How those deals progress compared with similar deals before.
  3. What worked, what didn't Keep what moves deals. Drop what doesn't.
  4. Keep what works Each round adds to what RevSage knows about how your company sells.

Each round informs the next. Conceptual diagram. RevSage identifies patterns and helps teams test whether they can be repeated. It does not claim to prove what causes revenue.

Questions

About the way we work.

How much of my team's time does this take?
We scope it with you. The founder's time matters most early, because that is where the knowledge is. We agree what we need from you and your salespeople before we start.
Do you replace the tools we already use?
No. We work from the data in the tools you already use, including exports, and aim to put findings where your team already works.
Is the operator a permanent part of my team?
No. The operator accelerates learning while the method and software mature. We aim for the amount of hands-on work to fall over time.
What happens when we hire a VP Sales?
Our intent is that the VP inherits context: past wins and losses, what the founder's motion looked like, and a baseline to measure improvements against. A new leader chooses their own tools, and we do not assume they will keep ours.

Start with the diagnostic.

It is the smallest useful step, and it shows both of us what is actually happening in your GTM motion.
